TB-500
Safety Considerations
TB-500 is generally well tolerated. Mild side effects may include fatigue, lightheadedness, or flu-like symptoms in some users. Injection site reactions are rare but possible. There is no known toxicity or carcinogenicity associated with TB-500, and it is not known to suppress natural hormone production. Dosing is often cyclical, with a loading phase (2–3 times per week) followed by a maintenance dose once weekly or as needed, depending on injury or recovery goals.

What Is the TB-500
TB-500 is a synthetic versionof a naturally occurring peptide called thymosin beta-4 (Tβ4), which is present in nearly all human and animal cells. It plays a key role in cell migration, tissue regeneration, and inflammation modulation. TB-500 is the active region of Tβ4 responsible for its most potent effects and was designed for enhanced wound healing, muscle recovery, and performance enhancement. It has become a staple in regenerative medicine and sports medicine, often used alongside BPC-157 for synergistic soft tissue repair.
How It Works
TB-500 works by promoting actin regulation, a vital protein in the structure and mobility of all cells. By upregulating cell motility, differentiation, and angiogenesis, TB-500 enhances the body’s ability to repair muscle, tendon, ligament, and even nervous tissue. It also upregulates VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) and MMPs (matrix metalloproteinases), two key drivers of new blood vessel formation and extracellular matrix remodeling—essential for restoring oxygen and nutrients to damaged tissues. TB-500 modulates inflammation by reducing pro- inflammatory cytokines like IL-1 and TNF-α, supporting a faster and more complete recovery process. Its systemic activity allows it to travel through the body to sites of injury, making it useful for both targeted healing and full-body recovery support.
Benefits
TB-500 is often used in therapeutic and performance settings for:
Accelerated recovery from muscle, tendon,or ligament injury
Improved flexibility and reduced stiffness in connective tissues
Faster healing of surgical incisions or chronic wounds
Reduced inflammation and oxidative stress
Cardiovascular protection via improved angiogenesis
Synergistic repair when combined with BPC-157
It has also been explored in animal models for corneal repair, myocardial healing, and even neuroprotection following brain injury.
