What Is the SEMAX

Semax is a syntheticheptapeptide neuroregulator developed from ACTH (adrenocorticotropic hormone) fragments. Like Selank, it was designed in Russia to improve cognitive function, focus, and stress resilience particularly in cases of neurological trauma, chronic fatigue, and cognitive decline. It is widely used off-label as a nootropic and dopaminergic enhancer.

How It Works

Semax acts by inhibiting the breakdown of enkephalins (endogenous opioids), enhancing dopamine and serotonin transmission in the central nervous system. It also stimulates the expression of BDNF, NGF (nerve growth factor), and VEGF, key proteins involved in neuroplasticity, neuron repair, and cerebral blood flow. Semax has been shown to increase tolerance to oxidative stress and ischemia, making it valuable in recovery protocols after stroke or brain injury. Unlike typical psychostimulants, Semax does not increase blood pressure or heart rate, and offers clean focus without the jitteriness or crash of amphetamines.
