Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy
Your blood holds remarkable healing power. We help you use it.
What Is PRP?
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy concentrates the growth factors naturally found in your own blood and delivers them precisely where healing is needed. Because PRP is derived from your own blood, it is biocompatible, safe, and well-tolerated.
PRP has been used in sports medicine for decades and is now a cornerstone of regenerative and aesthetic medicine. At Alliance Regenerative Medicine, we use PRP across a wide range of applications from joint and tissue repair to hair restoration and sexual wellness.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Blood Draw: A small amount of blood is drawn similar to a routine lab draw.
2. Centrifugation: The blood is spun in a specialized centrifuge that separates and concentrates the platelet-rich plasma creating a concentration 5 to 10 times higher in platelets than normal blood.
3. Injection: Concentrated PRP is injected precisely into the target area using topical numbing as appropriate.
4. Healing Response: Growth factors activate your body's natural repair cascade reducing inflammation and promoting cellular regeneration.
APPLICATIONS
PRP for Joints and Musculoskeletal Conditions: Beneficial for joint arthritis, injured joints and soft tissues (muscles, ligaments, and tendons), disc problems in the spine, sacroiliac (pelvic) problems, and pain or tendinopathy in the knees, shoulders, arms, hands, hips, and feet.
PRP for Hair Restoration: PRP is injected into the scalp or applied during microneedling to awaken dormant hair follicles, increase hair density, and slow hair loss.
PRP for Skin Rejuvenation: Combined with microneedling, PRP stimulates collagen production to reduce fine lines and improve texture.
P-Shot (Priapus Shot): PRP injected into specific areas can enhance sensitivity, improve erectile function, and support male sexual health.
IMPORTANT NOTE
PRP and stem cell therapy are advanced, non-surgical, and non-drug solutions. They are not used to treat bone fractures, pinched nerves, or acute ACL or ligament injuries. Our team will confirm at your consultation whether PRP is appropriate for your specific condition.
